Can I get tattooed if I am under 18?

No, it is against the law.

Can I get tattooed if I am pregnant or breast feeding?

How do I book an appointment?

All of our artists manage their own bookings. Please refer to our contact page and follow the link to your chosen artists’ enquiry form.

How do I book an appointment with a guest artist?

All of our guest artists manage their own bookings. Please refer to our social media where we will post the latest information on guest artists, along with their contact information.

How long will I have to wait for an appointment?

We only book two months in advance, meaning you never have to wait too long for an appointment. On the first of every month we open bookings for the following month. For example; on July 1st we open bookings for August. Generally, we hold a consultation event during the first week of every month.

Do I have to book in advance or do you do walk-ins?

We are a private studio and all appointments must be booked in advance. However, we often run flash events where walk-ins are encouraged.

Do I have to have a consultation?

Unless you have chosen a small pre-drawn design (flash) then you will most likely require a one-on-one consultation with your chosen artist. It it much easier to understand what the client wants, and tailor the design to fit their body, if the artist can meet them face-to-face. For those who aren’t local, we offer online consultations via video chat.

Can I see my design in advance?

We do not send designs out in advance. Your design will be a nice surprise when you arrive on the day.

What if I want changes to my design?

Small changes may be made to your design on the day.
Larger or more complex changes must be discussed with your artist. Your appointment will most likely have to be rescheduled in order to allow time for your artist to make the changes. It is at the artist’s discretion as to whether an additional design fee and/or deposit is required.

What if I don’t like my design?

In the unlikely event that you aren't happy with your design, you can discuss other ideas to be tattooed at a later date, you can also choose a pre-drawn available design instead, or you can completely cancel your appointment. Deposits and design fees will not be refunded.

What is "flash"?

Flash are pre-drawn designs that the artist would like to tattoo.

What is a "flash day"?

We regularly hold walk-in flash events,, or "flash days," where only the artist’s flash is available to be tattooed. This is good way to check out the latest work our artists have on offer, and also skip the wait list to get tattooed.

Cost / Payment

How much will my tattoo cost?

The cost of your tattoo will vary depending on what you are getting. Our artists usually charge by the piece if the tattoo can be completed in one sitting. If the tattoo will be completed over several sessions we offer full and half day rates. For some projects we occasionally offer an hourly rate.
  • Full Day / 6-7 hours - £500
  • Half Day / 3-4 hours - £300
  • 1 Hour - £100

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes. You cannot reserve or book an appointment without paying a deposit.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. We do not accept cash.

Your Appointment

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Please make sure you get a good night’s sleep and eat a good meal before your appointment. Do not drink any alcohol or take any illegal substances 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please avoid fake tanning during the week leading up to your appointment. Please avoid moisturising, or applying anything greasy/oily to your skin on the day of your appointment.

Do I need to bring ID with me to my appointment?

We need to see a copy of your ID when you arrive. This must be a valid passport, citizen card or UK driving license. If you do not bring ID you will not be tattooed. No other forms of ID will be accepted.

Should I bring any food and drink with me to my appointment?

We provide coffee, a selection of teas, and soy/almond milk. We also offer selected soft drinks and snacks. These should be sufficient to keep you going for shorter sessions, but we would recommend bringing something more substantial for longer appointments.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Be aware of the area you are getting tattooed and wear clothing that will allow the artist to easily get to the area. We advise you wear something warm and comfortable, such as tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt. If possible please wear black or dark coloured items. Please avoid wearing tight fitting clothes or underwear. It is also a good idea to bring a warm pair of socks as we do not allow shoes in the studio.

How many clients do you see per day?

Quality is more important to us than quantity so each artist sees just one client per day. This ensures maximum dedication, focus and commitment to every customer.

Can a guest come with me to my appointment?

I’m afraid we do not allow guests during tattoo appointments in the studio. However, please let us know if you have any special requirements or need any extra assistance and we will be happy to help.

Can I take a break during my tattoo appointment to eat/smoke/go to the toilet?

Yes, of course you can! Although it is only really necessary during longer appointments. As most of our work is priced by the piece or session no one is clock watching; the most important thing is that both the client and artist are comfortable and enjoy the session.

Will it Hurt?

Will it hurt?

Of course it is going to hurt, it’s a tattoo!

Are there any options to help with the pain?

You are welcome to take over-the-counter pain killers, such as ibuprofen, to help with the pain. It’s important that you avoid anything containing aspirin.

What about numbing creams?

The use of numbing creams must be discussed with your artist. Please do not apply any such creams prior to your appointment as you will not be tattooed; any design fees and deposits will not be refunded.

How should I look after my new tattoo?

Your artist will provide aftercare instructions at the end of your appointment. You can also purchase your aftercare products at the studio.
